Rahu & Ketu- Friends or enemy..A BRIEF GUIDE
Hello Guys, hope you like my last blog on zodiac signs, now I am back with a new topic this time.
I will discuss on Rahu & Ketu in this blog.
RAHU & KETU are always considered as non auspicious planets & enemies which is not true. They carry no physical bodies, they both are shadowy planet. In traditional astrology Rahu is knows as a physical body with no head & Ketu is considered as only head with no lower body.
Rahu represents the ascend of the moon in its precessional orbit around the earth. As per vedic astrology Rahu & KEtu have an orbital cycle of 18 years and are always 180 degrees from each other orbitally.
Astronomically, Rahu & Ketu denotes the points of intersection of the paths of the Sun & the Moon as they move on the celestial sphere. Therefore, Rahu & Ketu are respectively called the north and the south lunar nodes. The fact that eclipses occur when the Sun & the Moon are at one of these points gives rise to the understanding of swallowing of the Sun & the Moon.

Rahu is considered as a malefic planet in Hindu Astrology, now a days commonly known as Vedic Astrology. People who have running Dasha or major period of Rahu quiet often search the effects of Rahu Mahadasha or the results of Rahu Mahadasha on the internet and in the books of astrology. Let us try to understand why threre are varied point of view & how we arrive at the accurate results in Rahu Mahadasha. Everyone on the earth is born with an altogether different horoscope because of the different planetary combinations . Similarly planetary combination is repeated after 4800 years.
